Artist's Statement: She Builds Her Own Fire is a tribute to all the stronghearted women who have done life their way, with all the successes and learning experiences that go along with being her true self, with or without a partner. She Builds Her Own Fire is a new creation of mine inspired by my family members who keep astounding me with their abilities, spiritual values and lives.

She Builds is 11” tall. Brown broadcloth body is machine and hand sewn. Black denim vest, cotton blend scarf and dress with satin ribbon, glass bead decoration and moccasins, felt hat, and yarn hair. Incredible attention to detail.

Dolls by Diane Tells His Name are signed by the artist and include a Certificate of Authentication and story card.
